--Steria's UK unit extends contract with 10 NHS Trusts

7 April 2011 - French IT services provider Steria (EPA:RIA) said today that NHS Shared Business, its joint venture with the British Department of Health, has renewed its contract with 10 healthcare structures in the UK for another four years.
The new agreement, worth EUR15 million (USD21.4m), envisages the supply of invoicing, accountancy and payroll services and is effective as of April 1, 2011.

The contract involve NHS organisations across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

NHS Shared Business was set up in 2005 and is the UK's leading provider of business services to NHS.
