BELGRADE, Serbia - Serbia has intensified its search for Gen. Ratko Mladic and three other war crimes fugitives before a fact-finding visit this week by a chief U.N. prosecutor who has questioned Serbia's commitment to finding the suspects, officials said Wednesday.
Rasim Ljajic, a government official in charge of cooperation with the U.N. war crimes tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, said special police on Tuesday scoured a military barracks northeast of Belgrade as part of their search for the suspects.
