Cadillac, Mercury go with Amerigon

DETROIT - Amerigon Inc. will supply its heated/cooled seat system as an option in the new 2004 Mercury Monterey minivan, which is expected in showrooms this fall. The Monterey is the first application of Amerigon's climate-controlled seat system in a minivan.

Amerigon also will supply the system for the 2004 Cadillac DeVille. The DeVille is the first full-sized American luxury sedan to feature the climate-controlled seat system and the second in the Cadillac line.

The Cadillac XLR roadster, due in showrooms this spring, offers the system as standard equipment.
